We supply you our client with work during the week and occasionally on weekends, eliminating for you much of the stress and hassle of trying to land your next gig. Booking yourself can be extremely difficult. But it's especially hard and, at times, impossible while you're on set. Without a calling service such as Kalifornia Kasting, the typical scenario can go like this:

It's lunch break and you haven't yet secured your next day's work. So, you whip out your cell or make a mad dash for the pay phone if you can find a pay phone to call Central Casting and other casting agencies. Of course, many of your fellow background actors are doing precisely the same thing; so, there's a line at the phone booth and your cell is getting you nothing but a busy signal. (And who wants to handle a pay phone anyway, wearing anything less than a hazmat suit? YUCK!)

Then somehow, after several dozen attempts and by some miraculous stroke of luck, you finally get through. Only, by now, the part that you were so perfect for has already been cast. And let's not forget the time spent listening to recorded notices or just being put on hold, all of which eat up minutes and can cost you money in long distance, daytime, roaming and/or overage fees. Trying to book yourself from home can be just as time consuming, costly and frustrating, minus the risk of coming into contact with the science projects festering on Ma Bell's push-button Petri dish.

This is why Kalifornia Kasting is here. We make the calls and you get the work no hazmat suit required. We offer you convenience and give you peace of mind for the reasonable monthly fee of only $70. Our service and price are the same for both union and non-union talent. However, because union talent tend to work less (due to the nature of the business), after the first month, the union fee is only $15 per booking, never to exceed $70 per month. We offer many payment options, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, ATM check/debit cards and PayPal. What this means is, if you are accepted as a client of Kalifornia Kasting, your monthly fee will be $70 maximum. That fee will be deducted automatically from your selected method of payment on the first day of each month. Again, we accept the following credit cards:

If you join in the middle of the month, your fee is prorated. After all, that is the only fair thing to do. Also, there is a one-time $70 registration fee due at signup. This fee covers the cost of taking your photo at your registration appointment, editing the image and then formatting it for inclusion in our casting website and casting client books. Kalifornia Kasting works with more than 25 casting and commercial agencies, so your chances of being seen and booked are EXCELLENT! We never take a commission nor percentage from your paycheck; you are paid directly from the production companies. And there is no contract stating that you owe us your life, firstborn, or that you must thank us upon receiving your first Oscar. (Although you'd better!) Your professional affiliation with Kalifornia Kasting is strictly month-to-month. To terminate service and your financial obligation to Kalifornia Kasting, you must notify us in writing so that it reaches our office at least 15 days prior to your next payment due date. If you fail to do this, you will be charged for the following month.

One of the best perks of our service is that, once you are a client, we have a referral program in place for you. What that means is, if you refer to Kalifornia Kasting one (1) client that joins, the next month your fee will be $0. (That's right FREE!) If you send us one (1) new client that joins each month, you pay nothing! (How can you complain about that? I know, I know.... Some people aren't happy, unless they're complaining.)

Hopefully, you've found this website to be informative and funny (or, at least, mildly entertaining). It is intended to help casting directors find the talent they need quickly and efficiently.
